Dr. Jeffrey Rubin

Dr. of Veterinary Medicine

Hi my name is Jeffrey Rubin. I am a native New Yorker. I was raised in Long Island, and went to college in Upstate New York (SUNY Cortland) where I studied exercise physiology. I went on to get a Masters’ degree in Exercise Physiology from Florida International University. After finishing my masters’ degree I moved back to New York where I started to shadow a family friend, who was a veterinarian. I graduated from St Georges University in Grenada and finished my clinical year at Louisiana State University in 2011. After graduation I worked in a small animal practice in Syracuse NY for two years before moving to Florida in 2014. I have been practicing veterinary medicine here in Florida ever since. I love all aspects of general practice especially nutrition, surgery and dermatology. I have an interest in veterinary physical therapy. It allows me to combine my interest in exercise with the love I have for animals. I also enjoy working with the unique challenges of our geriatric patients.
